Everyday Jobs

Well, my baby girl is almost 4 months old.

4 months!

Time has been flying. Every minute of every day seems to be somewhat exhausting and I can’t fit in the things I desperately want to do, like exercise (I enjoy working out!). Don’t even mention the many, many chores that remain undone around the house.

A friend kindly reminded me of the number of jobs I currently hold, and that put things into perspective. And so I don’t think my time management skills are quite as pathetic as I was starting to think.

Job Title: Application Developer
This is the one where I go to an office and make cool web applications. It helps put money in the bank as my husband and I work on our Gazelle Intensity (any Dave Ramsey fans out there?) to get rid of all debt.

Job Title: Mom
This is the one where when I’m not at my job, the kids are my biggest responsibility. Let’s face it, moms are usually the default parent that kids go to when they want/need something. Thankfully my husband is fully engaged in parenting as well.
Because of this, you can be assured free consultation cialis that you are ordering from a genuine pharmacy and haven’t entangled in a trap. When we are young, getting erected is different in ages, like youth boys can develop penile erection by which they can have long hours of sexual intercourse that a man cannot make satisfied to the girl and at the same time the girl cannot make satisfied to the girl and ordering levitra from canada at the same time the girl cannot make satisfied to the boy. I focused on this topic in my EBook: free cialis Healthy Pancreas, Healthy You. Moreover, nicotine contained in cigarettes interferes with the valve mechanism responsible for “locking” blood in the penis and maintaining erection. purchase cialis
Job Title: Baby Feeder
I provide our baby’s only source of food right now. Despite the difficulties I had breast feeding my son, I’ve managed to not only keep up breast feeding and pumping after going back to work full time, but I also don’t absolutely hate it. That’s amazing. Pumping is difficult and super time consuming. And the primary reason I don’t get much sleep or free time. BUT it’s been good for me and good for our daughter (and even helped keep the cost of formula off of our budget!). I do look forward to the day that my husband and I decide that enough is enough and our daughter is ready for formula (or maybe is just on solid food, if I make it that long!). That time hasn’t come yet, but I do think it’s on the near horizon.

Job Title: Wife
I have a husband. It would be nice if I saw him one-on-one more often than when I’m waking up in the morning (and he’s still asleep), but such is life right now. Unfortunately, this “job” has taken a back seat to the others for a bit. Hopefully regular date nights can soon be incorporated into the schedule.

Job: Taking Care of Self
If finding time to be a good wife is hard, how about taking care of myself! I honestly don’t get enough time in my day to pull off regular exercise. I currently go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 4:30am just to have enough time and energy to get through each day and the tasks that the four jobs listed above require. BUT I can still eat right (21 Day Fix helps keep that in check!), enjoy some chocolate (Shakeology helps keep that option healthy), and even get the occasional quiet trip alone to Target…to buy things needed for the kids.

So. As you can see, there are a LOT of jobs that a working mom has. You probably have a lot of jobs too.

Time to wake up to each morning, decide what is important that day, and reach for my long term goals one day at a time.
